During the high season, parking is conveniently located at the designated area atop the hill. A shuttle bus operates regularly to transport visitors down to the beach. La Rijana Beach, 30 minute drive
La Rijana Beach is a stunning coastal gem and one of the closest to Casa Morayma. Offering a more rustic and untouched vibe, this hidden treasure is well worth the short 300-meter walk from the car park.
Its peaceful atmosphere and natural charm provide a perfect escape.
When visiting this beach, be sure to bring all your essentials, as there are no sunbeds or umbrellas available for rent.
Casa Morayma has a picnic hamper, chairs and a table if you would like to borrow them.
You can rent various non-motorized watercraft to enjoy some fun on the water.
In 2024, a small, makeshift bar was set up on the beach, serving simple sandwiches, refreshing drinks, and ice-cold beers for visitors to enjoy.


Almuñécar Beach, 35 minute drive
If you're in the mood for vibrant energy with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and fellow travelers, head over to Almuñécar & La Herradura.
A beautiful sandy beach on the western side of Almuñécar. San Cristóbal Beach stretches between the iconic El Peñón del Santo and the picturesque Cotobro Promenade. Along the lively promenade, you'll find a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, and hotels to explore. At its far end, where it transitions into the Cotobro Promenade, the beach is locally known as Playa de la China.
